MeshCore is the primary focus for local messaging, repeaters, observers, and connections with neighboring mesh communities.

Mesh radios can pass short messages directly between nearby devices. When other nodes are available, messages may travel farther across the network without relying entirely on cell service or internet access.
These systems can be useful for everyday communication, field testing, community events, and added resilience during outages or disruptions. Hampden County Mesh is a place to learn what works across the hills, valleys, cities, and towns of Western Massachusetts.
